Detect UAS was founded by Joe Trelli, a video production professional whose career behind the camera sparked a deep interest in drone technology and its rapidly expanding capabilities.What began as a tool for capturing aerial footage evolved into a much broader understanding of the role drones play in today's world. Drones are now valuable tools for public safety, search and rescue operations, incident response, infrastructure monitoring, and situational awareness.At the same time, advancements in drone technology have introduced new security challenges. As drones become more capable, affordable, and accessible, they can also be used in ways that pose risks to people, property, and organizations. Recent national and international events have highlighted the growing need for organizations to understand, detect, and respond to unauthorized drone activity.Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact beyond video production, Joe founded Detect UAS to help organizations better understand the evolving drone landscape and improve safety through drone detection, awareness, and preparedness.At Detect UAS, we believe technology can be a powerful force for good when used responsibly.
